Kidpower teaches parents, school professionals, and other caregivers child protection skills and strategies. Kids are safer when the adults in their lives prioritize safety and share a common vocabulary to talk about challenges in a way that doesn’t create fear but that is effective, positive, and empowering. The tools Kidpower teaches help to create positive social climates. Parents, teachers, and other caregivers are in the best position to use and teach these skills to young people in their daily activities.
This workshop was PROFOUNDLY meaningful. I love the tools and language I can use to reinforce safety with my kids! This program really helped us put this important topic into kid language.
