The following workshop is for The Vanguard School 1st through 5th graders AND their parents/adults. These sessions are all free thanks to generous grant funding.
Since 1994, Kidpower of Colorado has been teaching children and the adults who care for them the skills and self-confidence that they need to stay safe and respond constructively to threatening circumstances. Kidpower provides experiential, developmentally appropriate, evidence-based programs that teach children skills that help them stay safe from abuse and harassment, including bullying. These classes are for kids, 1st through 5th grades, AND their parents/adults. Students will practice the skills with their adults in real time through structured, developmentally appropriate games, stories, and role-plays.
